Hotel Waldmann in Schwangau/Alterschrofen

Active and family holidays in the beautiful Allgäu near Neuschwanstein Castle

Our family-run Hotel Waldmann is located away from the overcrowded hotspots, but still centrally. On the edge of Schwangau you will find a quiet and cozy holiday home in our traditional house where you can relax after eventful days. We look forward to welcoming you and warmly welcome you to Ostallgäu!

Three kilometers to Neuschwanstein Castle, two kilometers to the old town of Füssen, a few steps into the forest: with us you live just a stone's throw away from the most popular excursion destinations in the area. The mountains also seem close enough to touch: they tower impressively into the sky behind the royal castles and form a fantastic backdrop.

After an eventful day, you can pamper yourself in our restaurant in the evening. In our menu we offer regional specialties, seasonal delicacies and a daily changing daily menu. In summer, enjoy a freshly tapped beer from the regional family brewery "Zötler" in our beer garden with a view of the royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau.

Spend unforgettable moments at the Hotel Waldmann and let yourself be enchanted by our hospitality and our young team and the charm of our almost 100-year history.

Your Waldmann family and the entire team look forward to welcoming you and ensuring you have an unforgettable stay.
